Valve for decentralized gas supply
Decentralized gas supply is in effect wherever other connections to energy supply are not feasible or possible. In these supply islands, reliable and safe operation of all used components is essential.
Owing to its functional structure, the Staiger plunger valve meets these requirements. This valve may be operated both electronically or manually. To counter any potential power shortages caused by instable electricity networks, this valve has a reset function, which causes the valve to automatically return to an established starting position in order to assure a defined restart.
This gas valve guarantees that “Safety First” is always in effect. It is used also in gas supply to radiant heaters installed in functional buildings. The precise dosing of gas leads to exact setting of temperatures in buildings. Naturally this gas valve is certified in accordance with DVGW-EN161 and is in compliance with all applicable industry quality standards. In combination with a second shut-off valve and a pressure regulator, this valve may be used for any radiant heater in the system in order to accurately regulate temperature.
