Today young founder - tomorrow entrepreneur with responsibility
2018-03-06

Marc Staiger, who founded his own company, was happy to provide a jury for the first phase of the competition. Alongside Andreas Büdenbender (Business Unit Sachsenheim of the VR-Bank), Oliver Hans (Managing Director of the Stuttgart Stock Exchange) and Denise Kaufmann (Managing Director of the beverage logistics company Winkels), they presented the "Cave of the Lions" and evaluated the business ideas and plans at the pitches of the four student founding teams "Hard" conditions (would we invest?). It quickly became clear that the young founders could talk to the jurors absolutely on an equal footing and support their ideas. With trendy ideas, such as As a conductive fabric that can produce so much energy under pressure that a smartphone can be kept operational even without any other power source, the young founders could not only convince, but also inspire.
Marc Staiger: "Our regional companies - including Staiger - have emerged from these" tinker genes "and the new generation impressively shows that there is no end in sight for a long time to come."
Info: Jugend founds is a nationwide student competition in which individual pupils and groups of pupils develop a virtual business idea, draw up and submit the corresponding business plan and, in a planning phase, expose their company to the mechanisms of the social market economy. www.jugend-gruendet.de
