A practical example: in a customer project, the user controls their BBQ grill conveniently via a purpose-built smartphone app. The grill can be ignited remotely and, using STAIGER proportional valves, is regulated to an exactly defined target temperature.

For maximum safety, integrated gas and temperature sensors monitor the ignition process. A scale measures the gas cylinder level and warns the user in good time when levels are low.
