2-way solenoid valve

direct actuated, NO (normally open)

In the rest position a spring pushes the plunger against a sealing element. The valve is open. Upon energizing the solenoid, the plunger is pulled against the upper spring force through magnetic energy. Thereby the lower spring presses the sealing element gainst the valve seat and closes the valve. The medium supports the sealing action. Upon de-energizing the solenoid, the upper spring presses the plunger and sealing element downward, and the valve is opened.
